WHERE TO GO FROM HERE
Maryville University serves freshmen and transfer students in a traditional format, undergraduates seeking a weekend/evening format, graduate students as well as international students. Please select your appropriate category in the toolbar on the left.

The Physical Therapy program here at Maryville is set up to prepare each student for clinicals and then for jobs. All of the faculty and staff members here have gone out of their way to answer any questions I have and to make sure I am on the right track. Anytime there have been any changes in our job market, there has always been some way for me to find out exactly what was going on and exactly how it affected me.

My education at Maryville has prepared me to enter the job market through hands-on experiences inside and outside the classroom. As a student in the Secondary Education Program, I actually spent time in high school classrooms and reflected on that experience as part of the curriculum. I am completely confident that my education from Maryville will result in the job of my choice.

Maryville is a great school. It has the "small school" atmosphere that allows students to become known by everyone. Maryville has a great campus. Everything you need is within 5 minutes walking distance from your dorm room, including the athletic fields. My experience of playing soccer for four years has provided me with many great memories of my college years. The education at Maryville is definitely top notch. It will challenge you, but at the same time, it allows you to open your mind and become aware of what it will take to succeed.

Writing resumes and interviewing with companies has been much easier with assistance from the Career Office. By attending the annual Actuarial Science Career Fair as a freshman, I was able to establish relationships with many prestigious companies throughout the Unites States.

I am a Music Therapy major and I have wonderful and skilled teachers who have assisted me on enhancing my musicianship skills. The department also invites Music Therapist, who come once a week to share various activities with us that they incorporate on their jobs. I also have the opportunity to engage in hands-on experience to guide me in the direction of the particular field I would like to enter.

As a working adult, Maryville was the choice for me because of the flexible schedule that Maryville offered and because of the location. After I began at Maryville I was extremely happy with my choice because of the quality education and the individualized attention that I have received. I apply the knowledge that I obtain from Maryville everyday in my work environment, and have reaped the benefits of several job advancements since attending Maryville. Courses are offered not only at the main campus but at the Fenton and the St. Charles locations. This allows opportunities to attend classes where it is most convenient. Attending classes with other students who are holding down a full time job, and many raising families, gives the students a real bond to one another.
