In an effort to help families make Maryville an affordable option, you will find a number of resources, scholarships as well as links to other financial aid opportunities. From the prestigious Presidential Scholarship covering tuition room and board to the Art and Design Scholarship for Fine Arts Majors to the
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship for new transfer students, the University tries to maintain a full compliment of financial incentives for outstanding students.  There are many scholarships sponsored by companies, fraternal organizations, churches, professional groups, and employment affiliates.   Freshman Achievement Awards
Freshman Achievement Awards are awarded to incoming freshman students by using both cumulative high school grade point average and highest composite ACT score or their SAT score. These awards range in variance from $500 to $8500. They are renewable for up to 8 consecutive semesters with a 3.0 college grade point average. To find out the exact amount of an award contact your Admissions Counselor after an official high school transcript and test scores have been submitted to the Office of Admissions.
 
       
  Transfer Achievement Awards
Transfer Achievement Awards are awarded to full-time, incoming transfer students using the transfer grade point average. This average is calculated using official transcripts from each college a student might have attended. These award range in variance from $500 to $4500. This award is renewable with a 3.0 GPA.
 
       
  M-PACT Scholarships
M-PACT scholars are selected based on the students potential to make an M-PACT at Maryville University. M-PACT scholars will assist in the enhancement of a vibrant campus life. This scholarship is awarded to 20 incoming freshman. The award is $2000 per year and is renewable for up to 8 consecutive semesters. Maintaining a 2.5 college grade point average as well as fulfilling the service requirements for this award is required for renewal. Each M-PACT scholar is expected to participate in this program for 4 years. Students are invited to campus  to participate in the competition.   University Scholars Program
The University Scholars Program provides recognition and financial support for outstanding undergraduate students who enter Maryville University directly from high school. Scholarships are funded at the following levels:
Presidential Scholarship: Full time, Undergraduate Tuition as well as Room and Board in one of the two Residence Halls.
Trustee Scholarship: Full time, Undergraduate Tuition
To qualify to participate in this competition the student must have a 3.5 minimum high school (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative grade point average and at least a 28 ACT composite score or 1240 SAT-I combined score. This scholarship is renewable for up to 8 consecutive semesters, excluding summers. A 3.4 cumulative college grade point average is required for renewal.
 
       
  Minority Scholars Program
The University Scholars Program provides recognition and financial support for outstanding minority undergraduate students who enter Maryville University directly from high school. Scholarships are funded at the following levels:
Presidential Scholarship: Full Time, undergraduate tuition as well as room and board in one of the two Residence Halls.
Trustee Scholarship: Full time, undergraduate Tuition
To qualify for this competition the student must have at least a 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) cumulative grade point average and at least a 25 ACT composite score or 1130 SAT-I combined score. A separate application process is necessary in order to participate in this competition. This scholarship is renewable for up to 8 consecutive semesters; excluding summers pending the student maintains a 3.4 college grade point average requirement.
 
       
  Art and Design Scholarship Program
The Art and Design Scholarship Program provides recognition and financial support for undergraduate students with outstanding artistic talent who enter Maryville University directly from high school or as a transfer student. Scholarship amounts range from $500 - $5000. The competition for 2008 will be held on Friday, March 28.
 
       
  Army ROTC Program
In partnership with Washington University, host of an Army ROTC Detachment, Maryville will offer the Army ROTC Basic and Advanced Training courses to qualified, undergraduate, degree seeking, full-time students of Maryville University who desire to earn appointments as commissioned officers in the United States Army.

Maryville as the primary school will provide housing in one of the student dormitories on campus on a double occupancy, space available basis along with board for a maximum of four years of undergraduate, full-time study. New freshman or transfer students who are enrolled and been accepted as cadets in the Army ROTC at Washington University and chosen to receive the Federal Scholarship covering tuition and fees for this course of study will receive on campus, dorm housing. It is not transferable to other on or off campus housing, books or other educational expenses.

Recipients are required to complete the FAFSA process as well as a dorm contract for each year of study. While both the Federal stipend for ROTC and the Maryville providing room and board in Mouton or Duchesne, no other Maryville University funding program will be available.
