This informative, interactive and comprehensive event will introduce you to every aspect of Maryville.  Our publications and website can only illustrate so much of the Maryville experience.  You can read about us or even hear about us from others but to get a feel for the true Maryville experience you need to LIVE it! 

Spend a day learning about academic programs, student life, athletics, scholarships and financial aid options; tour the campus and meet current students.  However, the day is not just about Maryville, its about you.  You will participate in an interactive activity designed to help you soar with your strengths, accept the differences in those unlike you and discover your passion.  This visit program is for prospective freshmen.  The program will begin around 1pm and conclude around 5pm.

ACADEMIC SHOWCASE

School of Health Professions & School of Business-Friday, October 22, 2010

College of Arts and Sciences & School of Education-Friday, November 12, 2010

This half-day program will introduce you to faculty, students and alumni from the respective schools/college.  You will have the opportunity to thoroughly explore your academic interests, scholarship and financial aid options and take a tour of campus.  The School of Health Professions Visit Day is for prospective freshman students only.  The College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and School of Education Academic Showcases are for prospective freshman and transfer students.  The program will begin around 1pm and conclude around 5pm.

Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Interview Day

Physical Therapy-Saturday, December 4, 2010 and Saturday, January 22, 2011

Occupational Therapy-Saturday, December 4, 2010 and Friday, February 25, 2011

Admission into the Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy programs is highly competitive due to limited space.  An interview is required for consideration.  Freshmen applicants who meet the initial academic criteria may be invited to campus for an interview with a PT or OT faculty member.  The Physical Therapy program is a freshmen direct entry, 6 1/2 year, Doctorate program.  The Occupational Therapy program is a freshmen direct entry, 5 year, Master's program.

University Scholars Day

Friday, Feburary 4-Saturday, February 5 University Scholars Day brings selected high-achieving students to campus to compete for Presidential, Trustee and Multicultural Scholarships that range from half-tuition to tuition, room and board.  Scholarship CriteriaPriority Application Deadline is December 15th.

SAINT FOR A DAY

Admitted Students are invited to experience a Day in the Life of a Saint.  Bring your sleeping bag and a pillow and spend Sunday evening on campus.  Wake up Monday morning and shadow your Maryville host.  Eat breakfast, go to class, attend a meeting; see what it's like to be a SAINT!

Registration will open in December.

Parents: For hotel accomodations contact the St. Louis Marriott West.  You will need to submit a Conduct Agreement Form and a Medical Consent Form to stay overnight on campus.

It's never too early to see what it takes to become a SAINT!  This program is designed for high school sophomores and juniors.  Come see what Maryville has to offer.  During your visit you'll get tips on the college application process, ACT test-taking strategies, explore your academic interests, meet current students and take a tour.
